I forgot about this one with all the other excitement going on...

I think what this makes us is a family trying to "do our best to order our life by that principle". It makes us Christians working out our salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord.

Praying for some space between births for the express purpose of having a healthy mommy to have more children, is not exactly rejecting the notion that children are a blessing. That is the key principle, not how many children you have, but the heart's desire towards having children.

I only asked b/c I thought y'all were trying to space out the children a tad more and that goes directly against the definition established on the website. So does that make y'all 75% quiverfull?

We are the same as we ever were...even when we were the moderators of The Quiverfull Digest. :) We understand the Bible says children are a blessing and do our best to order our life by that principle. (Blessed is the man who's quiver is full..The fruit of the womb is a reward!)

This is a challenging proposition in our culture, but it is the starting place for everything we are doing with our life. From leaving the corporate rat race to pursue being a daddy, to starting a family integrated church, to moving to the farm to disciple and train our children. It starts and ends with the sufficiency and supremacy of scriptures as the guide for our lives specifically in regards to children which is the natural result of a Godly marriage.

Here are a couple great links that really go to the heart of the idea of being “quiverfull” as we embrace it.

Listen to this short podcast:

y'all are quiverfull? Like as in the original definition established on quiverfull.com?

Yea, that's a "feature" Beth didn't like much. When ever you link to another post, it prints an excerpt from that post in the comments to show the relationship. It's called a pingback, which is cool in concept especially across different blogs, but it get a little annoying within the same blog. But it does show the references where that "topic" is being discussed in other posts, so its kind of useful. :)

Sometimes when you click on the comments (like with the post above about listening to teaching tapes while waiting fro breakfast...), it instead takes you to another post - the one above took me to the post about Micheal W. Smith

I've noticed this a few times on the site :)
