Another very interesting book that I picked up in an Antique store is "Theodore Roosevelt's Letters to His Children." I have not yet finished reading it, but what strikes me is his gentleness toward his children. Some are entitled, "Darling Ethel," or "Blessed Kermit." Frequently he and his children would send "picture letters" to one another. This book has reprinted them.
